Last week Sam played a few songs with our friend/guitar teacher Brian's band, Lonesome Jake. I had my camera...you know what happens next ;) I ended up making a little photo essay of the night at Cecil Monday's bar in Eudora, KS. Whatcha think??

Meet Hallie! She needed some new promo shots for her singing career, so we hung out for a while and got some goooorgeousss images! As usual, Katie rocked out makeup and hair!
John Joiner Band
Wow. I have some seriousssssssly crazy weeks ahead of me (in a GREAT way, don't worry :-) so I'll have lots of stories for you when I get back (Jesh de Rox workshop, South Africa visit, etc....) In the meantime, I'm trying to get together a few posts to keep you tided over! First up, the John Joiner Band. We snagged a few shots (like 10 minutes...) of them in an old warehouse atmosphere, then lots of them live!
Sam (my hubby) is now booking shows to play with Nick McCutcheon (lots of photos to come, duh ;-) and he got up and played a song with them as well! Isn't he cute?? :-)

Rockstar
Introducing Wade. Wade is an amazingly talented guitarist, who was actually my hubby's first guitar teacher. We were neighbors at the Leavenworth studio and finally got together to shoot. Despite his straight-up gangsta look (totally kidding on that - he actually was told he looked to 'gangsta' to enter the Happy Hour we tried to attend after this shoot :-) Wade is a super sweet, down to earth guy and we had a ton of fun shooting these and playing with light with Josh.
Speaking of Josh, have you signed up for our Shoot Day on Wednesday?? We're still getting lots of emails and it's not too late to sign up! We'll definitely be holding another in the future, but this first one is going to be a blast! We've decided on our theme, and trust me - it's gonna ROCK!!
