Kristysaurus

Ok - one more, then I'm outta here! It's lookin' pretty snowy out there... :-)

Last for today is Kristy, a fantastic photog from Oregon, and an amazing friend. Kristy and I have an interesting story! We began chatting via email awhile back - not uncommon for us photog-folk, but what made us different is that Kristy decided to come stay with me and visit - for 6 nights - without ever actually meeting face to face! Everyone was a bit surprised on both ends.

As soon as her plane arrived, though, I knew we were going to hit it off. We had *SO* much fun while she was here and totally understood each other's sense of humor (which is odd, to say the least :-).

Anyhoo, of course we had to shoot each other while she was here :-) (pics of me to come later), so here are a few of my favorites!

Miss you Kristysaurus!!

This next group were all shot between 10 pm and 1 am in my driveway :-) It was quite a setup - and thanks to Katie for the fabulous styling!

And this group was...umm...on the side of the road, spur of the moment :-)

See why I love her? Look at that laugh! :-)

Ashlee

Keeping with today's theme, this is Ashlee, one of my bestest friends :-) These images were taken on a day that we were supposed to be watching a football game, but got bored, as we so often do. You know me - I suggested we go out and shoot! Ashlee humored me and let me dress her up like a Barbie, and I think it was totally worth the effort. Such a hottie!

My Favorite Band :-)

So considering the snowy nature of a day like today, I've decided to do a bit of 'housecleaning,' if you will, on my computer. You see, I've had a TON of images just waiting for some lovin' that I haven't had time to edit (i.e. images I took for friends that had to be put on the backburner while I was busy with clients). So now, I'd like to introduce a few of my favorite people (in several blogs). First up - the boys of County Road 5. If you like country/red dirt music, you should definitely check these guys out. They make great original music, plus put on an incredible show! Just watch out for Dusty - he's a little crazy ;-) Here's a couple shots from their performance a few weeks ago at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill.

Sara+Andrew

Before Sara & Andrew's wedding, I knew Sara as a quiet, shy, sweet girl. The day of their wedding, though, she was absolutely drop dead gorgeous and totally worked it for the camera! Can we say GORGEOUS??

Sara & Andrew gave me tons of time to play and shoot the two of them, and we made out with a ridiculous number of amazing shots! I did my best to narrow these down - you'll have to check out their gallery for more.

Also, I wanted to point out that Katie did the girls' styling here and, as you can see, rocked it out as well. In fact, this whole day was filled with vendors I adore - Peter Chung did video, Encore provided the DJing, and it was held at one of my favorite venues, Loose Mansion, where Amy & Stephanie did a fabulous job coordinating and decorating (as you can see from the detail montage below). It was a fabulous day, all around!

EDIT: Peter just released Sara & Andrew's highlight video, too - check it out - it looks amazing!
