Q104 Birthday Bash

Last night I had a great time shooting the first night of Q104's 2-day Birthday Bash. I don't have time really to post everything (off to Chrissy & Richard's wedding :-), but I just thought I'd share this image that I thought was cool. Also, if you can, go check out tonight's bash. The Drew Davis band will be performing and I met them last night through Heather - they should put on an awesome performance!

Audrey - Coquette

I have sooooooo many new shoots to share with you (and TONS more coming)!!! Here's some of my favorites from Audrey's Coquette session a few weeks ago. How hot is she?? :-) If you haven't booked your Coquettes yet, you absolutely should. Now that the studio is up and running, they are even more fun than before! I've got sessions booked through June and beyond, but still plenty of time to fit you in....

P.S. I FINALLY got my internet hooked up at the studio, so hopefully that'll make things easier to stay on top of!

Courtney's Senior Portraits

Without further ado (I'm tired and have 10,001 emails to return...), I give you the beautiful Courtney, a senior who makes my job far, far too easy!! It was really hard to choose favorites!

Oh wait, one more thing - her Mom owns this awesome little shop in Parkville called Bittersweet Hollow - you should definitely check it out! It's right next to my favorite antiques place, too - Nine Lives. On with the photos.

Good grief I need a nap...

Wow. This week was absolutely non stop!! Things are still moving (no pun intended) with getting settled into the studio (slowly but surely), but photo sessions are in full force! Here's a start of the promised pics, beginning with shots of my sis-in-law and family. I don't do very many family shoots, but when I do, these are the kind of shots I like :-) First up, my beautiful and fabulous nieces, Jordan and Paige.

What a weekend!!

Hey everyone! I'm officially moved in (well, not completely, but enough to count) to the studio! I think it's looking great, and I've already had two shoots in it. Things were so hectic the whole weekend, I didn't take any photos of the move (ironic, isn't it?) but I do have some awesome shots from the weekend's shoots to share. Unfortunately, my main computer at the studio isn't hooked up to the internet yet (have to wait till FRIDAY....), and my spanking new iMac here at home is still downloading all my programs so that I can actually use it. So sit tight, kids, they're coming!

Yesterday was my first official shoot in the studio and seriously, you guys are going to flip when you see how gorgeous this senior is! Plus we had a blast shooting! Anyway, photos coming soon. To tide you over, here's a goofy one of me taken by my iMac :-)

Jennifer - Coquette

So lately KPD has been absolutely swamped (in a good way) with Coquettes (our version of 'boudoir' photos - I just think boudoir is a silly word and I feel like a dork saying it :-). The wonderful Knotties who frequent the Knot KC message boards are keeping me super busy with these fun shoots! If you haven't already, check out the website for more examples and info, or as always you can just shoot me an email. These shoots are booking like crazy and they're really going to rock in the new studio!

They make great wedding, anniversary (one of my girls just pointed out that the 1st anniversary is the 'paper' anniversary...), birthday, or 'just because' gifts! Now that we've teamed up with Mink Artistry, they're even better!

Here's a few from Jennifer's recent shoot - how hot is she?? More to come soon....

Patrick & Amanda

First up, you can all rest at ease now - the website issues have been resolved and hopefully will not be happening again!

Second, wow, so what do you Kansas Citians think about this weather?? I'm sooooo glad it's finally warming up - I was about to have to take up Theresa & Mike's (blog about them to come soon) offer to let me stay with them in California :-)

Things have been crazy (as always) this week trying to get everything ironed out with the studio. I start moving things in on Thursday. If any of you have some free time, there's lots to be done.... ;-)

Here are some of my favorites from Patrick and Amanda's beautiful (but freezing and windy) wedding last fall. Hope things are going great for you two!!
