Help fight leukemia

Hey everyone! So, I've been meaning to post this FOREVER, but you know me :-) One of my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Ashlee, (of prom photo fame two posts ago ;-) is running her first marathon...and it's a big one....to raise money to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. She'll be running 26.2 miles (wow!) really soon - so soon that she needs to finish getting all her donations (about $1000 more) by Tuesday! Here's Ashlee's own words:

"I am training to participate in an endurance event (26.2 mile marathon) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission. Your money will also help support Rachael, my team's honored patient. Rachel is 22 years old and was diagnosed at age 20 with a rare bone marrow disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome. After taking a year off for treatment, she is back at Kansas State University continuing her education. Described as having "an amazing spirit", Rachel is using her experience to help make others aware of blood and bone marrow diseases like hers."
