Yay!

So, I'm pretty excited guys...(and yes, I know I'm a dork)...As you may or may not know, I'm a member of WPJA (the Wedding Photojournalist Association). WPJA came out with another division of sorts this year called the Artistic Guild WPJA. It's designed for members to show their work post-Photoshop enhancement, which is strictly prohibited in WPJA (and by enhancement, I mean actual image enhancement, not a bunch of weird Photoshopping just for Photoshop's sake....).

Anyway, to make a long story short, I discovered today that one of my images from Hailey & Dave's wedding placed 3rd in the Details category!! This is pretty exciting for me, as WPJA is an international association, and pretty prestigious! So anyway, I just had to share and say YAY!! :-) Ok, done being a dork...for now. Here's the pic:

Laura & Stephen - August 5

Hey everybody! Here's another awesome wedding from earlier this month. Laura & Stephen are such wonderful people, and are obviously very in love. You might remember them from their engagement shoot I blogged about in June. Laura, as you'll see, is absolutely drop dead gorgeous (my job is just too easy sometimes :-) and Steve was just a blast to be around! Hope you like them:

Heather & Olivia

Ok, guys I'm sorry for being so slow returning emails and calls this week - I promise I'm not trying to avoid anyone! I had a great wedding yesterday with Dani & Jesse so we'll have some great pics coming up from it, as well as the other weddings I haven't blogged about. I've been meaning to write about my lunch with Heather Cole forever now! Heather and I had talked over email for several months before we finally met last month for lunch. We have such a blast together and she's a fabulous photographer as well, so we have tons in common! Heather owns Cole Digital Creations, so you should definitely check her out- she's great!
