I like to do projects that challenge me and let me play creatively on the 'off season.' The last several posts have been in that category, and so is this one. As I approach more commercial work, it's fun to shoot more lifestyle imagery that doesn't necessarily even have a purpose (as far as hanging on the wall goes). With that in mind, I rounded up Henry (remember him?), Jake (you'll be seeing more of him)& Jordan (remember her from this shoot) for some fun! As usual, Katie rocked the styling!

Oh, and by the way, if you haven't noticed already - we have a new logo! Like it? I hope so - if you've met me in the last 8 months you'll know that dove is tattooed on my wrist :-) Also, be sure and check the website - it's finalllllly been updated!

Introducing .... Peep Shows!

Finally, after much planning and thinking, it's time to announce the new baby in the Coquette family! I'm so excited to bring you Peep Shows! This is a collaborative project between myself, Katie (of Mink Artistry, who we all love for making us look more beautiful), and Melissa Robbins (who owns Nine Lives in Parkville - she has the most fabulous vintage style).

Peep Shows are the new girls' night out (or day in...whatever ;-). Invite your favorite girlfriends over (or have the show hosted at one of the fabulous downtown hotels we have arrangements with), have some wine, listen to some great music and get makeovers, customized scene styling and mini-Coquette shoots. It's a fabulous gift for the man in your life, and even more - for YOU!

We'll be hosting a few events in the near future so you can come meet the girls behind the curtain, as well as having a new fantastic website launch, but I just couldn't keep it to myself any longer!! Stay tuned for more info and start planning your own Peep Show!

Keeping with the theme of people from my past, here's Celeste! Celeste & I have also known each other for most of our lives and recently reconnected for lunch...five hours later, we couldn't believe we'd spent so much time apart and I'm so excited to have her back in my life! Isn't she beautiful??

elise+christian | married

So, it's 1:28 in the morning as I write this. I don't think I've ever blogged anything so fast...I wrapped up shooting Elise & Christian's wedding just 3 1/2 hours ago!! Call in Guinness (as in the records, not the beer :-)

Anyway, it was so much fun to be a part of Elise's wedding! We've known each other almost all of our lives and it is wonderful that she's found someone who makes her as happy as Christian obviously does! Congrats you two :-)
