Don't you miss summer?

I had my first "technical" day off for Christmas vacation today. It was really nice to be able to get some work done! Besides that, I got to start baking Christmas cookies - I made Hello Dollies (my favorite Christmas-y dessert)! I started to make coconut-chocolate chip cookies, until I realized I was missing butter and eggs...oops. Tomorrow.

I went through some old pics today and found a bunch of photos from the 4th of July that I never edited. Some pretty cool stuff. Here's my tribute to summer :-)

Hi everyone! Well, it's finally Friday - yeah - which means that I am only 10 days away from Tampa! (Not that I'm counting down!!) Today was a great day for me. Not only did I get a fabulous 1 hour massage, but I booked a wedding (officially the 26th for 2006) that sounds like tons of fun. The couple are music lovers and are running with that theme for their reception. It's set to be held at the Uptown Theatre and hopefully will feature a live rock band - sounds like a good time!

I also got to do a fun shoot yesterday with beautiful Ashley! Here's some of my favorite shots.

Still enduring this frigid Kansas City weather (ok fine, it wasn't that bad today, but I'm already ready for warmer weather)! And luckily, in less than 2 weeks I will be headed south for Florida w/the hubby! I can't wait!

Here are some pictures from Omar & Faiza's wedding reception this weekend. The lovely couple were married in San Francisco, then held a local reception back here in KC, complete with Balinese dancers. Isn't Faiza gorgeous?
